At Garage Defend we source and purchase cars from multiple different avenues. One of those ways is from local dealerships around Japan who don't specialize in exporting cars to other countries. Sourcing cars from the auctions in Japan is a great way to find nice cars but sometimes you find some hidden gyms at the local dealers.

At 7 in the morning we set off for the outskirts of Tokyo. Around 5 hours later we finally made it to our first stop...thanks Golden Week traffic. The first stop of the day was at a Honda shop. They had everything from EK9s, S2000s, FD2 Type Rs and many more. We were there to inspect a 1997 Honda Integra Type R. One of the services we offer is to source and inspect cars that customers are interested in purchasing. After we finished at the Honda dealer we set off for 2 more dealerships in the Tokyo area. One of the hardest cars to find for sale in Japan right now is 1995 Nissan Skyline GTR R33s. With R33 GTRs becoming USA import legal next year everyone is buying them up and storing them until 2020. We were able to find and purchase two early model R33 GTRs from the next two dealerships and you can soon find them in stock on our website here.

About 24 hours from the time we left Nagoya we had finnally finished out trip and were back at Garage Defend.
